PURE IMPACT


PURE since 2016 has been recognized for its services by many media, community, government and private organizations, adding more responsibility. The impact on children’s lives PURE touched has been very positive and continues to be so, we put numbers together from each program area in the reports. PURE values our gurus, partner organizations and collaborators. Over the years we celebrated them thru PURE Guru, Irya and other events. Giving is joyous and enjoyable too, putting smiles on children’s faces and easing their pain as much as we can is what PURE is all about.



EVENTS

IRYA



Irya means power in Sanskrit, which is one of the oldest Indian languages. The Power That IS Woman is celebrated each year through connecting people who work on women’s and girl’s causes with each other. This is a movement not limited to one day each year.

Irya was celebrated in 2018 through recognizing the service of 33 outstanding people from rural and urban backgrounds. In 2019, we too Irya to the villages through supporting self-help groups, allevating period poverty, providing undergarments to girls, bicycles, sewing machines and much more.

GURU



Gurus, the teachers, are a pillar of strength PURE highly relies on. They are our partners in shaping the future of the next generation of leaders and responsible citizens. PURE Guru brings our teachers together each year to share goals for the academic year.

In 2017 and 2018 teachers participated in the PURE Guru event held at Hyderabad. 2017 encouraged weavers and 2018 women’ self help groups by procuring jute folders to present to the participants. Tewnty teachers were recognized in 2019 for their dedication towards their students.

SPONSORSHIPS



International Day of Disabled Persons was celebrated in 2019 by distributing prosthetic limbs, wheel chairs and laptops. Shri Harish Rao, Minister of Finance Telangana State was the special guest. His presence was very encouraging and the words he shared reinforced our belief in equal opportunities for all.

In 2018, we celebrated by providing musical instruments, furniture and computers to help start a skill center for the visually impaired. Special needs is at the heart of PURE’s mission.

WOMEN'S EMPOWERMENT



PURE Irya celebrates people who work towards the upliftment of women and girl children. Watch this video (Telugu) where we share our thoughts on women empowerment.

Women’s empowerment encompasses empowerment in all there key areas – Social, Educational, Financial, Political, and Psychological.

PRERANA 2020



PURE Prerana-2020 is a fundraiser for street children and at-risk youth in the local community​. Dance performances from students of local dance schools and dramas that will bring awareness to our PURE programs, a ticketed and sponsored event by the children for the children.

The event was postponed due to COVID-19 related shut downs following New Jersey’s guidelines.

USA



PURE banner is displayed proudly at least once a week in USA putting our children’s needs in the limelight, encouringig others to join in our journey of giving.Multiple ways to push our causes – fundraisers, social gatherings, awareness booths and participation in community events.

It is not enough to merely exist. It’s not enough to say, ‘I’m earning enough to live and support my family. I do my work well. I’m a good parent.’ That’s all very well. You must give some time to your fellow man. Even if it’s a little thing, do something for those who have need of a man’s help, something for which you get no pay but the privilege of doing it.
